Our Process With Clients
GoSoft provides survey data with site coordinates on a GIS Map that helps real estate companies obtain a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from Airports Authority of India (AAI). We have years of experience and first hand knowledge of the documents and formalities necessary to obtain No Objection Certificates from AAI and the Air force for objects of vertical significance around an airport.

Real-time GIS analyzes sensor data and other live feeds, then puts it on interactive maps for real-time decision-making. Track dynamic assets that are constantly changing location (such as vehicles, aircraft, or vessels), or stationary assets, such as weather and environmental monitoring stations. Help make sense of massive amounts of dynamic data, including Big Data.
Methodology and Accuracy
Differential Global Positioning System (DGPS) is an enhancement to Global Positioning System that provides improved location accuracy, from the 3 to 10 meter nominal GPS accuracy to about 15 cm in case of the best implementations.
DGPS uses StarFire, which is a wide-area differential GPS developed by John Deere’s NavCom and precision farming groups. StarFire broadcasts additional “correction information” over satellite L-band frequencies around the world, allowing a StarFire-equipped receiver to produce position measurements accurate to well under one meter, with typical accuracy over a 24-hour period being under 4.5 cm. StarFire is similar to the FAA’s differential GPS Wide Area Augmentation System (WAAS), but considerably more accurate due to a number of techniques that improve its receiver-end processing.
About No Objection Certificate (NOC)
Why is an NOC necessary?
construction inside and outside its boundary. These may result in limitations on the distances
available for take-off and landing and on the range of meteorological conditions in which the take-off and
landing can be undertaken. For these reasons, certain areas of the local airspace must be regarded as
integral parts of the aerodrome environment. The degree of freedom from obstacles in these areas is as
important to the safe and efficient use of the aerodrome as are the more obvious physical requirements of
the runways and their associated strips.
The method of assessing the significance of any proposed object within the aerodrome boundary or in the
vicinity of an aerodrome is to define Obstacle Limitation Surfaces (OLS) particular to a runway and its intended
use.
The guidance material, defining these obstacle limitation surfaces and their characteristics and to describe
the action to be taken to protect them is available in Govt. of India notification SO 84 (E).
Who Issues NOC height clearance for Civil and Defence Airports?
The Airports Authority of India issues the No Objection Certificate on behalf of Central Government in
respect of All Civil Aerodromes in India including the State Government aerodromes and the Private
aerodromes where civil commercial flights are operating as listed at Annexure IIIA of SO84 (E).
For Defence Aerodromes, No Objection Certificate for height clearance is issued by respective defence
authorities, in accordance with the notification and subject to any other restriction or condition which such
authorities deemed fit.
Some of the Defence Authorities are:
- Indian Air Force
- Indian Navy
- Indian Coast Guard
- Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL)
Requirements for Obtaining NOC
Following documents (hard copies) are to be submitted to the designated officer at
the airport or the regional/station level NOC office:
- Performed by GoSoft: Surveyed Site Elevation and WGS-84 Coordinates (at least 7-digit in DD MM SS.s format) from a qualified professional or an agency, authorized for the purpose by the concerned Department / Unit / Local Body of the Government.
- Signed print out of submitted online NOC application with NOC ID.
- Site Location Plan, duly approved and authenticated by the municipal authorities / Urban Development authority / any other licensed authorized agency.
- Undertaking on Form 1A (refer 6.4 in guideline) on a non-judicial stamp paper of Rs.10.
Two set of documents are to be filed at the nearest airport (contact o/o Airport Director at
the airport). The designated officer at the airport will scrutinize the application for its
completeness and forward one copy of the documents to the Regional NOC office for
processing and issue of NOC.
